About the Fund

The Beth A. Shafran Memorial Endowment Fund was established in 2018 in memory of Beth Shafran, former president and champion of the JCC in Sherman. Beth was a strong advocate for the JCCS, working tirelessly to ensure that the organization was able to fulfill its mission of bringing social, cultural and educational programs to Sherman and the surrounding communities. Her exemplary leadership, kind heart and willingness to say “thank you” served as an inspiration to all.

It was Beth’s vision that the JCC in Sherman continue to connect people for many years to come, making it a fitting tribute to establish an endowment fund in her name that will continue  not only for her god work, but that of all those who came before her and those who will come after.

The JCC in Sherman is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
