In a 45 min presentation, Greg exhibits a “traveling” museum, while explaining the significance of each and how they were uncovered. You will be amazed and amused at the important, poignant and humorous objects and the way in which Greg shares his tales of discovery from basement to attic and beyond.
It might be a soda commercial from 1975 that never aired, a book hidden within a book, or maybe a rare piece of American history you can hold in your hand...Come and enjoy this interesting presentation about what we throw away...and maybe... what we shouldn’t. In this special visit to the JCC of Sherman, Greg will be sharing an overview of the many categories of History he has found:- Military, Medicine, Advertising, Entertainment, plus - A display of old photographs and photo-negatives on glass. AND a demonstration on how anyone with a smartphone can turn a film negative to a positive print during the presentation. (There will be no Ai used in this demonstration)
A Question and answer period will follow the presentation along with a meet and greet session.
