The JCC in Sherman
The JCC in Sherman is a non-profit organization and has been a gathering and performance center for the local communities since 1994. The JCCS serves the entire community irrespective of age, race, or religion. The JCC offers a wide array of programming options for members and non members alike which capitalize on our auditorium and professional kitchen. As the only community center in the area, the JCCS has a strong commitment to the people who live and work here. We develop programs that are reflective of the interests of the community and seek to inspire, serve, challenge, and entertain.
The Jewish Community Center in Sherman (JCCS), is a nonprofit community and cultural center founded on and inspired by Jewish identity; serving all people in the greater Sherman community through a variety of educational, recreational, literary, wellness, cultural and arts activities.

Our Vision
The Jewish Community Center (JCCS) implements its mission by maintaining a community space and programming grounded in Jewish values where all people can come together irrespective of age, race, religion or sexual orientation. Our organization and its programming celebrates Jewish identity and interests, while exploring and uplifting the plurality of our community and all those who live, work and learn here. At its core, JCCS maintains programming that honors Jewish history, culture and identity while also developing educational, recreational, literary, wellness, cultural, arts and music activities that include and appeal to families and individuals of diverse backgrounds and interests. We highlight the exceptional talent pool in the local area and the spectrum of people that make up the community of the JCCS.
